The North Carolina Apple Festival is held annually over Labor Day Weekend in Hendersonville, North Carolina. The area is known as The Crest of the Blue Ridge! If you’re looking to put some sizzle in the Fourth of July, Hendersonville, NC has a number of celebrations planned for Independence Day. Some of the highlights include the Henderson County Independence Day Fireworks Display, sponsored by the county Parks and Recreation Department. The event will begin at dark and can be viewed from downtown Hendersonville and the south side of town. The Music On Main Street concert series has become a favorite summertime event with families of all ages. Music On Main Street features some of the best regional artists performing live on the permanent stage located on the corner of Main and Barnwell Streets. The concerts are held every Friday evening from June 10 through August 19 at 201 South Main Street. Music On Main Street showcases a diverse lineup of musical talents and caters to people of all ages.
